Hamburg Historic District occupies a bluff-side residential area northwest of downtown Davenport.

Developed within a historically German-settled neighborhood, it contains varied nineteenth- and early twentieth-century houses, including elaborate residences along streets above the Mississippi River.
A visit is an exterior architecture walk along public streets. Houses and gardens remain private unless an individual property advertises a public event or tour. The slopes are part of the district’s character, so choose a route suited to your mobility and the weather. Keep residential entrances clear and use legal visitor parking.
