Hayward’s Japanese Gardens provide a landscaped garden visit beside the senior center on North Third Street.

Paths through carefully arranged planting offer a quieter outdoor alternative to larger recreation parks.
The recreation district lists the entrance at 22373 North Third Street and regular public hours from morning to late afternoon, with a Christmas Day closure. Check current notices before travelling. Wedding rentals are arranged separately after public hours during the designated season, so a private-event booking is not required for an ordinary daytime garden visit. The photograph shows the actual garden paths and planting.
