- Regional draw
- Needham
Hemlock Gorge Reservation protects a small wooded landscape along the Charles River between Newton and Needham.

Paths and river views surround the historic Echo Bridge, connecting natural scenery with water-supply engineering history.
Use current state information to choose an access point and marked route. The photograph shows Echo Bridge within the reservation. Paths and viewing areas may be uneven or slippery, so follow current signs and keep away from unsafe river edges. Check bridge and platform access separately, and use only authorized public routes rather than entering neighboring private land.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
