Mature forest, a rhododendron garden, and native planting give Eugene's Hendricks Park several different environments within one city landscape. The trails support a slower outdoor visit, with seasonal flowers adding interest beyond the woodland itself.
Choose a route using current city information and prepare for changes in terrain. Flowering conditions depend on season and weather; check access notices and bring suitable footwear rather than assuming every path is a paved garden walk.
