- Shakopee
Holmes Street Pedestrian Bridge carries a recreation route across the Minnesota River at Shakopee.

The preserved steel-truss bridge offers river views and a connection with the town’s history as a regional crossing point.
The photograph shows the bridge from the riverbank during an earlier visit. Converted from road use to a recreation trail, it should be approached through designated walking and cycling connections. Check current trail and river-access notices before planning a crossing, particularly after flooding or during winter conditions. Respect historic railings and signs, and share the deck considerately with other authorized users.
