John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge spans the Ohio River between Covington and Cincinnati.

Its stone towers and suspended roadway make it both a working crossing and a landmark in the history of long-span bridge engineering.
Use designated pedestrian paths and check current traffic or maintenance notices before planning a crossing. The photograph shows the bridge from the Covington riverfront. Keep clear of the roadway and do not climb cables or structural elements. Guided historical walks have separate arrangements through the bridge society, while ordinary walking access depends on the current condition of the public route.
