Riverside Drive Historic District follows Covington’s Ohio River edge near the Roebling Bridge.

Historic houses and civic buildings connect the city’s riverfront views with the architecture of a community that developed through trade and transport.
Plan a sidewalk walk and use current public routes between the waterfront and surrounding streets. The photograph shows a historic part of the district. Many buildings remain occupied or privately operated, so a public streetscape visit does not provide interior access. Respect residents, avoid blocking entrances and check riverfront notices when events, construction or high water affect pedestrian routes.
