John Bright Covered Bridge stands on the Ohio University Lancaster campus after being relocated from its original Fairfield County crossing.

The wooden covered span preserves nineteenth-century bridge engineering in a pedestrian setting, alongside a separate historic iron bridge over Fetter’s Run.
Visit as part of a walk through the permitted campus grounds and follow university parking and access notices. This is the covered John Bright No. 2 bridge, distinct from the neighboring No. 1 iron structure. The photograph shows the restored bridge and its historical marker at the Lancaster campus.
