Laguna Grande Regional Park

Laguna Grande Regional Park combines a lake, wildlife habitat and recreation grounds across Seaside and Monterey.

The Seaside portion provides play and picnic facilities, while paths around the water connect the developed park with creekside vegetation.
The photograph shows a pied-billed grebe recorded at Laguna Grande during an earlier visit; sightings vary with season and conditions. Different portions of the park have different municipal managers. Use designated paths and public entrances, leave birds undisturbed and check current notices before travelling for a particular facility. Organized picnics need separate reservations, and water access should follow posted restrictions.
