Lake Union Park provides public waterfront space near downtown Seattle, with lawns, paths and views across the lake.

Its setting celebrates the city’s maritime and industrial history and connects several independently operated cultural attractions. The photograph shows an aerial view of the park in 2012.
A general park visit is separate from admission or activities at MOHAI, the Center for Wooden Boats and other waterfront operators. Check their individual schedules before planning an indoor visit or boating experience. Follow current maintenance notices, keep dock access clear and respect posted limits around launch points and mooring areas.
Visitor details reviewed October 27, 2026. Consult primary place information for background, and confirm current access and operating arrangements before visiting. View on OpenStreetMap.
