Lexington Battle Green preserves the public common associated with the opening battle of the American Revolution.

Memorials, open grounds and the surrounding historic streets create a central place to begin exploring Lexington’s history.
Use current town visitor information for guided walks and interpretation, which have separate schedules from ordinary access to the green. The photograph shows an earlier autumn view toward the neighboring church, not permission to enter that building. Respect memorials, designated paths and any ceremonies taking place. Nearby historic house museums are separately managed destinations with their own tickets and hours.
