Shreveport's Louisiana State Exhibit Museum occupies a circular New Deal-era building around a landscaped courtyard. Scale dioramas, murals, and collections relating to Louisiana's people give the architecture a close relationship with the material presented inside.

Look at the portico fresco and rotunda as well as the exhibitions. Check current visiting days and gallery information before travelling, and allow time for the displays about Native American history alongside the museum's changing art program.
