Mason Neck State Park offers wooded trails, wetland scenery and Potomac River views on the Mason Neck peninsula.

Its landscape supports a nature-focused day visit within a broader network of protected lands.
Use current Virginia State Parks maps and notices to choose an entrance, route and permitted activity. The photograph shows an earlier wetland scene rather than the whole park or today’s water conditions. The adjacent national wildlife refuge follows separate access arrangements. Check parking, seasonal services and any trail closures, and remain on public routes around sensitive shoreline and marsh habitat.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
