McLoughlin House Site in Oregon City is a separate unit of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.

The preserved house and neighboring Barclay House connect the Hudson’s Bay Company era with settlement and the changing communities around Willamette Falls.
Confirm current National Park Service tour days before arriving; this unit is in Oregon City, apart from the main Fort Vancouver site across the state line. Tours meet according to the ranger’s current instructions, often at the Barclay House. The photograph shows a historic building within the unit. Interior access, group arrangements and preservation closures differ from an exterior grounds visit.
