Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum on Poughkeepsie’s waterfront offers hands-on learning for children and their caregivers.

Interactive exhibits encourage exploration of science and everyday problem solving within a setting close to other Hudson River visitor destinations.
The museum was formerly called Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum; use its current name and website when planning. Check opening days, age suitability and admission before arriving, as Monday and holiday schedules vary. Adult supervision is required, and groups should book separately. The photograph shows the building exterior. Follow current food, parking-validation and gallery rules, and confirm any special program’s registration requirements.
