Milwaukee County Zoo offers a large zoological visitor destination on Milwaukee’s western side.

Paths connect animal habitats with indoor spaces and supporting facilities, allowing a visit to follow different interests and weather conditions.
Check current admission, parking and date-specific opening information before travelling. Individual habitats and optional experiences can have separate schedules or temporary closures. The photograph shows the zoo’s signed entrance rather than a particular animal encounter or a guarantee that every exhibit is available. Allow time for the wider grounds instead of treating it as a brief roadside stop.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
