Root Common Park is a compact triangular green space in the Village of Wauwatosa.

Public seating, musical play features and a small performance stage give it a community role within the surrounding shopping and street network.
Treat it as a short civic-space stop rather than a large recreation park. Check the city calendar for organized performances and reservation arrangements. The photograph shows the landscaped public space during an earlier visit; instruments, nearby memorial features and seating may be used differently during events. Use the surrounding lawful pedestrian crossings when approaching.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
