- San Antonio
Mission San José preserves a major Spanish mission complex in San Antonio, with a church, stone buildings and grounds that reveal the scale of an eighteenth-century mission community.

Interpretation connects architecture and religious life with the experiences of Indigenous people who lived and worked here.
Check current visitor-center and building hours before traveling; grounds and interior access can follow different schedules. The church remains an active Catholic parish, so respect services and restricted areas. National park access is free, while guided programs have their own arrangements. This is the San Antonio mission, separate from Mission San José in Fremont, California.
