Mount Rubidoux Park rises west of downtown Riverside, with paved walking routes, dirt trails and hilltop monuments overlooking the surrounding landscape.

Its rocky slopes and summit landmarks make it a recognizable destination for an outdoor visit rather than a drive-through viewpoint.
The city closes the park at dusk and does not allow visitor vehicles onto its roads. Use the recommended parking at adjacent Ryan Bonaminio Park and plan for an uphill walk. There is no trail lighting for night hiking. Choose a suitable route, carry water and check current city notices before setting out.
Visitor details reviewed October 27, 2026. Consult primary place information for background, and confirm current access and operating arrangements before visiting. View on OpenStreetMap.
