North Wheeling Historic District
- Historic residential district
- Regional draw
- Wheeling
North Wheeling Historic District preserves a streetscape of nineteenth-century houses and other urban buildings beside the Ohio River corridor.

Its closely spaced architecture offers a different view of Wheeling from the larger civic and industrial landmarks downtown.
Use current heritage walking information and remain on public sidewalks. The photograph shows contributing houses within the district. Many buildings are occupied homes, and historic designation does not grant interior or garden access. Keep entrances clear, respect residents and check street or construction notices before choosing a walking route.
