Nutty Narrows Squirrel Bridge

Nutty Narrows Bridge is Longview’s well-known squirrel crossing, suspended above the street near the trees it connects.

Its small scale and unusual purpose make it a distinctive outdoor landmark in the city.
Look for the original bridge on Olympia Way using the city’s current location information, as Longview has other squirrel crossings too. The photograph shows the suspended structure through tree branches during an earlier visit. It is designed for squirrels, not pedestrians. Observe from a safe public path, use road crossings carefully and avoid disturbing the trees, bridge or animals using it.
