- Arlington
Old Schwamb Mill preserves an Arlington workshop associated with the production of oval and circular wooden picture frames.

Machinery, working spaces and demonstrations help explain the relationship between skilled craft and the industrial history of Mill Brook, giving the building a purpose beyond its historic exterior.
Check the mill’s current public visiting schedule or arrange a group visit before travelling. Demonstrations and special exhibitions depend on the program, so a specific working process should not be assumed on every visit. The photograph shows the mill’s exterior on Mill Lane, rather than an interior workshop demonstration.
