Petrifying Springs Park in Somers is a longstanding Kenosha County destination for wooded walks and outdoor recreation.

Rolling terrain, hardwood trees and picnic areas provide a varied park landscape, with seasonal color adding to the experience.
Use the county’s trail map to select a route and distinguish shared trails from areas reserved for specific activities. Golf, the dog park and other facilities have their own arrangements. Check current notices before visiting in winter or after heavy rain, and respect any reserved picnic areas. Postal directions may say Kenosha although the park lies in Somers.
