Forest, gardens, and Puget Sound shoreline give Point Defiance several different landscapes within one Tacoma park.

Owen Beach and the woodland routes offer outdoor experiences, while separate attractions such as the zoo and Fort Nisqually can extend an outing.
Use the current park map to choose an entrance and route. The outer loop of Five Mile Drive is reserved for pedestrians and cyclists; confirm individual attraction tickets and access separately from general park access.
