Rock Park provides the hiking approach to the prominent rock formation that gives Castle Rock, Colorado, its name.

Unpaved trails climb through a distinctive natural setting, with views across the town and toward the Front Range from the higher paths.
The short route is rated difficult because of steep, uneven terrain. Check current trail conditions, wear suitable footwear and keep clear of exposed edges and loose rock. Bicycles are prohibited. Use designated trailheads and remember that reaching the rock’s base does not mean its exposed summit is a suitable route for every visitor.
