Rosemead Park is a large municipal recreation space with lawns, playgrounds and a half-mile fitness trail.
Picnic shelters and sports areas make it useful for both a short neighborhood walk and a planned family gathering.
The city identifies the park at 4343 Encinita Avenue. Check separate schedules for the aquatic center and skate park, as they do not necessarily match general outdoor access. The photograph shows the actual Rosemead park setting. Reserved shelters and organized sports have their own arrangements. Follow the current park map and posted rules when selecting a play area or walking route.
