Rosemount Museum preserves the late-Victorian home built for John A.

Thatcher and his family in Pueblo. Completed in 1893, the mansion pairs elaborate architectural details with rooms containing much of the family’s original furniture, artwork and decorative objects.
A guided visit offers a closer look at domestic life in a prosperous Colorado household, rather than just the exterior of a historic building. Consult the museum’s current tour calendar before arriving, especially around holidays and special events when visiting arrangements can change. Leave enough time to appreciate the woodwork and furnished interiors at the tour’s pace.
