Rowley House Museum interprets local history in a nineteenth-century Middleton home.

Furnishings, photographs and everyday objects connect the residence with generations of the Rowley family and the wider community’s changing work and domestic life.
The photograph shows the house during an earlier visit. Regular public opening is seasonal, generally from mid-April to mid-October, so the museum is outside its normal visiting season in late autumn and winter. Check the current calendar or contact the historical society before travelling for an interior visit. Confirm group arrangements, accessibility and whether the adjoining carriage-house displays are included.
