Schuetzen Park in Davenport combines woodland paths with the surviving landscape of a German American recreation ground.

Its history reaches back to a shooting society, while today’s emphasis is on quiet enjoyment of nature and local heritage.

Bicycles and motor vehicles are prohibited within the park. Leave plants, wildlife and historical objects undisturbed; the photograph shows part of the park landscape.
