Seward Park occupies a wooded peninsula extending into Lake Washington in Seattle.

A shoreline route, forest paths and lake views combine with recreation grounds to offer both an easy waterside circuit and quieter walks among mature trees.
The photograph shows an earlier aerial view of the peninsula. Choose a route using the current city map, as forest trails and shoreline paths differ in surface and gradient. Swimming, boat launching and organized programs have separate seasonal and safety arrangements. Keep dogs leashed, respect habitat areas and check current notices before travelling for a particular beach, facility or connecting route.
