Shabonee Park (Potawatomi Chief)
- Park
- Skokie
Shabonee Park provides a neighborhood play and recreation space on Kedvale Avenue in Skokie.

Its name honors the Potawatomi leader Shabonee, while a playground and basketball court support everyday outdoor activity.
The photograph shows the actual park in winter. Consult current district information for equipment, court use and maintenance conditions. Seasonal services may be unavailable, and the compact site has different facilities from the district’s larger community parks. Keep dogs under posted rules, supervise children near street approaches and respect surrounding homes. Share recreation areas with other visitors and follow signs around any temporary closures.
