St. George Tabernacle stands on Main Street as a red-sandstone reminder of the community’s nineteenth-century settlement.

Built through the work and contributions of local Latter-day Saints, it has served as a place for worship, concerts and civic gatherings over many generations.
Guided visits explain the building’s construction and point out architectural details inside. Consult the historic site’s current tour information before arriving, since community and religious events may affect access. The building remains in use, so allow space for scheduled gatherings. The credited photograph shows the tabernacle in an earlier period; consult official visitor information for its present appearance.
