Stonehenge Replica
- Public art
- Regional draw
- Odessa
The Stonehenge Replica at the University of Texas Permian Basin brings a deliberately unexpected stone-circle landmark to Odessa.

Built as a campus art project, it provides a short outdoor stop that invites comparison with the prehistoric monument that inspired it. The photograph shows the actual Odessa installation.
Use current university visitor guidance to find lawful parking and public access. This is a modern replica, so its interest lies in the campus artwork and setting rather than an archaeological site. Respect the stones, surrounding grounds, and university activity, and prepare for exposed West Texas weather.
