Sundial Bridge spans the Sacramento River in Redding with a distinctive tilted mast and glass-decked crossing.
Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it combines a practical pedestrian and bicycle connection with a large-scale architectural landmark.
Walk across at an unhurried pace to appreciate the river setting and the bridge’s changing angles from each bank. It connects with the wider Turtle Bay area and river trails, while the exploration park’s ticketed attractions have separate arrangements.
