The Breakers

The surviving mansion's interiors, architecture, and setting provide a way to explore the scale of elite summer life while learning about the household and the people whose work supported it.

Choose an admission or tour option through the Preservation Society and leave time for the grounds as well as the interior. The back and south terraces are closed for restoration until November 2026, although surrounding gardens and the back lawn remain open. Check current access and accessibility guidance.
