The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens

The Huntington in San Marino brings botanical gardens, art collections and historic materials together on a large landscaped estate.

Its varied garden environments and galleries allow visitors to build a day around plants, art or both.
Reserve through the current visitor page where required; the estate normally closes on Tuesdays. Library exhibition halls are temporarily closed during building work, and individual gardens or galleries may also be unavailable. The photograph shows an actual scene in the Children’s Garden. Check closures and the visitor map before choosing a route. Research access, special tours and events have arrangements separate from general admission.
Visitor details reviewed October 26, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
