Tohono Chul combines desert gardens, art, and interpretation on Tucson's northwestern side.

Paths introduce Sonoran Desert plants and habitats, while changing exhibitions connect the landscape with creative responses to the region. The garden's smaller settings and shaded places encourage observation rather than a hurried march through a large collection.
Check current garden conditions, programs, and exhibition access before visiting. Bring water and appropriate sun protection, choose a route suited to the temperature, and allow time to notice wildlife and plant details along the paths.
Visitor details reviewed October 17, 2026. Check [official visitor information](http://www.tohonochul.org/) for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
