Tucson Botanical Gardens offers a compact cultivated landscape within the city, with themed planting areas and paths that encourage close attention to plants.

Tucson Botanical Gardens brings several themed planting areas into a compact city setting. Nuestro Jardín, the Barrio Garden, honors traditional Mexican-American neighborhood gardens through flowers, trees and herbs associated with those spaces.
The grounds also include a butterfly garden and the Cox Butterfly & Orchid Pavilion, alongside other collections shown on the garden map. These planted settings connect local garden traditions with broader botanical displays. The pavilion and special exhibitions have their own seasonal and admission arrangements within the wider garden.
