Ventura Pier extends from the city’s beachfront into the Pacific, offering a recognizable focal point for a waterfront walk.

Its long timber structure connects the shore with broad views along the coast and back toward Ventura.
Check current city access notices before stepping onto the pier, since high surf and maintenance can affect entry. The adjoining promenade and beach provide separate ways to enjoy the setting if conditions change. Follow posted rules around fishing and shared space, and keep clear of areas closed by gates or staff. The Unsplash photograph shows the pier and shoreline from above.
