Washington and Old Dominion Railroad Regional Park follows a former rail corridor through northern Virginia, including the Reston area.

Its long paved trail links urban neighborhoods with more rural landscapes, supporting shorter local outings as well as longer rides.
Choose a specific access point using the current park map and check notices for crossings, maintenance and shared-use rules. The photograph shows the historic stone bridge area near Clarke’s Gap, farther west along the wider corridor, rather than a Reston trailhead. Allow space for walkers, cyclists and other authorized users.
