Wind Point Lighthouse stands above Lake Michigan in the village of Wind Point, north of Racine.
The tall white tower and keeper’s buildings form a distinctive lakeside landmark, while the surrounding grounds provide space to appreciate the historic light station from outside.
Grounds access and tower climbs follow different arrangements. Public climbs take place only on advertised dates, with private tours subject to availability and participation requirements. Check the current access directions as well as the tour calendar before visiting; road construction can affect the approach. A grounds visit remains a different experience from reaching the top of the tower.
