Withington Park

Its prominent Defense of the Flag monument by Lorado Taft connects the outdoor space with the city’s commemorative and artistic heritage.

Check current city information for access and any activities or maintenance affecting the square. The photograph focuses on the monument rather than the entire park. Respect the sculpture and memorial setting, use designated public approaches and give way to ceremonies or organized gatherings. A casual exterior visit is separate from any announced historical interpretation or downtown event.
