Downtown Sioux Falls combines loft housing, the Phillips Avenue business streets and riverfront districts. Everyday services are spread across it: Downtown Library is on North Dakota Avenue, Pomegranate Market is on North Reid Place, and Sunshine Foods is on South 2nd Avenue. City parking and bus connections add options beyond an apartment building’s own facilities.

Phillips Avenue Lofts combines laundry, elevators and parking options
Phillips Avenue Lofts, 601 North Phillips Avenue, lists washer/dryers among its apartment amenities. Its building services include elevators, controlled access, bike racks, a fitness center, storage and several parking types, including underground parking. Short-term leases also appear on the amenities list. The leasing number is 605-789-5009.
The property permits up to two pets and publishes separate pet rent, deposit and one-time fees, with starting amounts subject to adjustment. Its listing of parking options does not specify a space included with every apartment.

Saturday street meters and public ramps follow different rules
City street meters require payment Monday–Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., at the standard $1.50 hourly rate. Public ramps and lots are free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. Saturday’s free parking therefore applies to the City ramps and lots, while street meters still require payment. Posted restrictions and private garages have their own rules.
Text-to-pay records the payment against the vehicle’s plate even when the physical meter still displays expired. The City lists a $0.45 convenience fee for that payment option.

Monthly parking and a moving-truck space are separate requests
The City offers monthly parking leases at downtown lots and ramps, with rates varying by location and availability. Its leased-parking page links the facilities map and application form. Public Parking handles applications at City Center, 231 North Dakota Avenue; the number is 605-367-8170, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
For a commercial moving crew, the City rents meter bags that reserve qualifying spaces for the work. A vehicle must be necessary for the move and carry commercial plates or business signage. These spaces are not for a worker’s commuting vehicle or general resident parking. The moving company can contact Public Parking about allowable uses and rates.

Two routes reach East Walmart by different corridors
From the downtown terminal, the Red Line follows East 10th Street and serves East Walmart, Dawley Farm Village and State One Stop. The Yellow Line also reaches East Walmart, using East 14th, East 18th and East 26th streets instead. Its stops include the Hy-Vee at Sycamore and 26th.
SAM’s network page lists weekday bus service from 6 a.m.–9:15 p.m. and Saturday service from 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Individual route timetables and the live bus tracker give the departures for each stop. This is a six-day bus network, so Sunday trips need another arrangement.
