About Whitney Park
Whitney Park is a Green Bay neighborhood with a public park at 800 Main Street and loft apartments and townhomes nearby. Whitney School’s rental policies cover utility setup, pet approval and payment fees. The park has a fenced dog area with seasonal water, while Route 10 provides a Main Street connection with limited Saturday hours.
Loft apartments and townhomes near the park
Whitney School Lofts at 215 North Webster Avenue occupies a former school across from Whitney Park. The property describes one- and two-bedroom loft layouts with in-unit washers and dryers, central air conditioning and high ceilings. On-site parking is available. Goldfinch Management handles loft leasing at 920-432-7176; ask about space allocation and the parking charge with the apartment quote.
The same development includes two- and three-bedroom townhomes with attached garages, presented separately as an ownership option. Both parts of the complex are described as sharing green space, a gym and a party room. The sales page retains undated presale information. Its listed sales contact, 920-574-4422, can answer questions about current purchase options.
Utility accounts, pets and payment costs
Whitney School’s resident policies direct incoming residents to Wisconsin Public Service to arrange the utility account. They also require management approval for pets and a monthly fee for each animal, without publishing the amount on that page. Parking is limited to approved vehicles in designated spaces.
The policy page says a security deposit cannot be used as the last month’s rent. It lists portal payments, mailed checks and WIPS cash payments, with fees attached to checks and WIPS transactions. Those charges and any pet rent sit outside the advertised base rent, so the written lease and payment schedule determine the full cost.
The public park and its off-leash area
Whitney Park is at 800 Main Street, with posted hours of 6 a.m.–10 p.m. The city lists a playground, basketball court, picnic areas, shelter and restrooms. Its fenced dog exercise area occupies 0.4 acres and is free to use, with agility equipment and picnic tables. The drinking fountain for people and dogs is seasonal and is shut off in winter.
Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated; each handler can bring no more than two and must remain inside the enclosure. Handlers must be at least 16, and puppies younger than five months are excluded. Dogs need a leash when entering or leaving. Apartment permission to keep a pet remains a separate question from using this public facility.
Route 10 along Main Street
Route 10, the Plum Line, links the Transit Center with Main Street and Walmart East. The current guide schedules 12 minutes from the Transit Center to Walmart East Transfer Point C. That is time on the bus between those stops; a trip from a home near Whitney Park also includes reaching the boarding stop and waiting.
The guide lists half-hourly service on weekdays, 5:15 a.m.–6:45 p.m., with the last Transit Center departure at 6:15 p.m. Saturday service is half-hourly, 7:45 a.m.–1:45 p.m., with the last departure at 1:15 p.m. This route does not provide a late-evening trip.
