Apartments beside Pope Park
Park Terrace I at 222 Park Terrace offers one- and two-bedroom apartments in Frog Hollow. The operator lists off-street parking, a shared laundry facility and storage. Its utility panel assigns cable, electricity, gas and internet to residents, so those services remain separate budget items.
The one-bedroom plan carried a waiting-list label when checked October 23, 2026. Choose Park Terrace I in Mutual Housing’s application list; the association gives 860-951-7217 for application and waiting-list questions.
Frog Hollow’s permit blocks renew in April
The authority lists two permanent and two visitor permits for Columbia Street numbers 1–23, Park Terrace numbers 2–24 and Putnam Street numbers 245–253. Seymour Street numbers 122–192 has two permanent and one visitor permit. All four segments renew in April.
These are specific signed blocks, not a neighborhood-wide parking entitlement. The Park Terrace permit segment, for example, does not include the apartment address at number 222. Off-street parking offered by that property is a separate arrangement.
Park Street Library has Saturday hours
Park Street Library @ the Lyric is at 603 Park Street, telephone 860-695-7500. It opens 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday. It is closed Sunday.
The branch moved to this building in 2021. Older references to its former 744 Park Street address lead to the wrong location.
Pope Park and seasonal swimming
Pope Park at 30 Pope Park Drive has a playscape, basketball court, baseball and soccer fields. It is across the street from Park Terrace I and provides a recreation destination beside the apartment buildings.
Pope Park’s outdoor swimming follows a seasonal city program. The recreation-swim page lists a 42-inch height requirement for this pool. Its entry rules and sessions are separate from the city’s indoor-pool programs.
