About 18b Arts District

The 18b Arts District is a downtown Las Vegas district of galleries, studios, vintage shops and restaurants around Main and Commerce streets. The Arts Factory and Art Square provide clusters of creative spaces, while First Friday brings a monthly outdoor arts festival to the area. Main Street also carries the city’s Brewery Row, with several Downtown Loop stops serving different parts of the district.

Galleries and studios around Main and Commerce

The district takes its 18b name from an original eighteen-block area, with creative businesses extending beyond that early footprint. Former warehouses, storefronts and garages now hold galleries, studios and shops around Main and Commerce streets.

The Arts Factory brings working studios and galleries into one building. Nearby Art Square groups galleries, retail and an art garden around a courtyard formed by three restored buildings, including the Nevada Humanities gallery.

First Friday brings artists into the streets

First Friday is a free monthly arts and culture festival in the district, featuring local artists, musicians, makers and food vendors. The festival’s outdoor activity is centered around the Arts Factory, alongside the area’s permanent studios and businesses.

The nonprofit First Friday Foundation’s year-round education work includes creative assemblies and contests for Clark County students.

Brewery Row and the district’s shuttle stops

The city identifies Brewery Row along Main Street as a concentration of breweries and taverns within the Arts District. The Downtown Loop has a Brewery Row stop in the 1500 block of Main Street, between Utah and Wyoming avenues.

Other district stops are at Art Way and Boulder Avenue, and on Main Street between California and Colorado avenues.
