Cheviot Hills Recreation Center
Cheviot Hills Recreation Center is at 2551 S. Motor Avenue. The City’s park assessment inventories baseball fields, basketball, gymnasiums, a multipurpose field, a playground, a pool and 14 tennis courts across the wider site, which includes Rancho Park Golf Course.
Cheviot Hills Pool
Cheviot Hills Pool is at 2693 Motor Avenue. The City lists it as a seasonal outdoor, unheated pool; swim sessions and lessons follow the aquatics program’s schedule, separately from recreation-center classes.
Archery, tennis and golf
The Rancho Park archery facilities are part of the local recreation grounds. Rancho Park Golf Course is a public 18-hole, par-71 course with a lighted driving range, practice putting greens and lessons.
The separate Rancho Park 3-Par course has nine holes and is also operated by LA City Golf. The two courses have separate booking and course information pages.
Palms–Rancho Park library: temporary closure
The Palms–Rancho Park Branch Library is at 2920 Overland Avenue. LAPL’s current notice lists a closure from October 19, 2026 through February 7, 2027 for facility maintenance and painting. The branch normally provides computers, printing and a Student Zone; those listings do not mean the building is open during the closure.
Housing prices
Detached homes include older houses and properties that have been renovated or replaced. Zillow reported a typical Cheviot Hills home value of about $2.44 million, with data updated September 30, 2026. This is a neighborhood home-value index, rather than a price for a particular house.

When checked October 18, 2026, it carried a notice about updates to its data feed; reporting dates and coverage matter when interpreting the results.
