Avery–Helm Historic District preserves a varied residential streetscape in Corvallis, Oregon.

Italianate houses, Craftsman influences and later buildings trace the neighborhood’s growth from the nineteenth century through the first half of the twentieth.
The photograph shows an actual historic house within the district. Use National Register boundaries around Southwest Second and Sixth streets, Jefferson Avenue and the bypass to plan an exterior walk. Properties retain private or institutional uses, with individual access arrangements. Historic designation grants no general entry to homes, gardens or interiors. Respect residents’ privacy and use public sidewalks and marked crossings.
