Blackhawk Park in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin neighborhood combines a historic fieldhouse with outdoor recreation spaces.

A walking path, playground and sports facilities provide several different reasons for a local visit.
The park district lists the entrance at 2318 North Lavergne Avenue. The photograph shows the actual fieldhouse exterior. Indoor swimming, gym use, classes and organized leagues have schedules and registration separate from ordinary outdoor access. Check the current program and facility notices before travelling for a particular activity. Seasonal play features and reserved fields should not be assumed available whenever the grounds are open.
