Bluff Point State Park

- Regional draw
- Groton Town
Bluff Point State Park protects a wooded peninsula and coastal habitats in Groton, with trails leading toward Long Island Sound.

The mixture of shore, woodland and wetlands provides a broader landscape experience than a compact town beach.
Use the official park map to choose a route and follow the reserve’s rules for protecting coastal habitat. Weather, tides and seasonal conditions can affect shoreline access. The photograph shows a rocky coastal view from the park rather than a promise of an easy beach route or particular wildlife sightings.
